Came across this documentary the shopkeep was playing today when I was in a shoe store looking for new sneaks. Airwalk documentary on the skate scene in New York. Very well shot and far-out moves. Good Job, Airwalk.

food rap

Big up to LRG for this very creatively done promotional video. It seems they did it just for me as they combined two of my favorite things in life. Hip Hop and Food. Hip, Funky and Appetizing. This course is good for a second helping...Bon Apatite.

rudy's got soul

A great short documentary about how something starts as an idea and becomes a sub-culture within a city. A name that was inspired by a bunch of graffiti kids and Fat Albert.

bridge's facial hair

I think I might have a man-crush on Jeff Bridge's facial hair. Homeboy can rock anything. Beard, Gotee, 'Stache.   I wish some of us were that lucky. This post is dedicated to the great Jeff Bridge's Facial Hair.

wallpaper is stuck on me...

It has been my favorite read for a long time. Since I got over the fallen off Hip Hop 'zines and sport reads. I needed something more to feed my instinctual apatite. With the right mix of seasoning and meat, Wallpaper Magazine's website is not only easy to navigate, but also pretty cool looking. What I like the most is that it fits the magazine's image. If you haven't read the magazine yet and into Art, Architecture, Fashion and Lifestyle, check out the site and then pick up the hardcopy version next time you grab that Grande at your local coffee pub slash magazine stand.

obey the rise..

If you're not hip to the streets or what the kids are wearing these days, Obey is one of the staples in fashion for the hip folks. Here's a short 3 minute and change documentary about the clothing line's founder and his graffiti beginnings. Very cool.
