While I do a Ford Free Friday everyday on here, here is a thought provoking campaign Dove soap did that could get you thinking about your own self-confidence. The spot begs us to stop being so hard on ourselves.
Take a look and let me know what you think. Would the same thing happen to you?
I never thought I'd post a tampon TV spot on any of my blogs. But this one made the cut. It's a breakthrough in tampon advertising. Check out this little girl who gets her first period at camp and then turns into the Camp Gyno. Her mouth might mutter some words you'd never htink a 12 year old would know, but it just proves why this ad is so good. Brilliant.
The best Google Doodle appeared today on the popular search engine. The video celebrated Saul Bass' 93rd birthday. Bass was an American graphic designer and Oscar winning filmmaker, who was primarily known for his design of movie title sequences, film posters and corporate logos. Might have seen his work in The Man with the Golden Arm, and was the guy who did came up with AT&T "bell" and its "globe" logo in the 80s.
Night full of weird dreams. That's what happens when you need a get-better-quick solution and rely on extra strength drugs with harsh ingredients that your body isn't used to. Came home from work. Popped pill. Slept till 8. Had dinner, popped another pill. Back to bed till Now - 4.19am. Computer on lap in bed looking for something to do till I fall back asleep. I could use another 3 hours. Just looked on the ground. Not looking forward to cleaning up the germ infested tissues on the floor in the morning.
Anyway, to get my eyes heavy once more, I checked out two new TV spots that have been making their 'rounds 'round the interweb this week.
Superbowl is just days away. I first saw this first Super Bowl TV Spot when my sister posted it on Facebook. Heard it's getting a bunch of flack. Is it racist? Are we being just way too PC? Personally, I find the joke tired, and wish creative would come up with something more creative. But that's just me.
The creative behind this Ad campaign deserve an award. Amazingly funny while being relevant and cute. Pushing Marvin Magazine, the spots look at when happens when listening to music during pregnancy featuring Kanye, Animal Nation, Radiohead and Nivana.
Here's a couple of them. For the whole set Go Here.
Big up to LRG for this very creatively done promotional video. It seems they did it just for me as they combined two of my favorite things in life. Hip Hop and Food. Hip, Funky and Appetizing. This course is good for a second helping...Bon Apatite.
The creative folks at Google came out this morning with the Valentines Google doodle. Here it is. Still think it would be better if she shot him. No hard feelings, here.
In case you live in Canada and were blocked out of the privilege of checking out this years special Super Bowl ads, here are a few that have been posted online. Funny. A few of them didn't seem to have that Super Bowl magic as previous years. But that's just me. What do you think?
I posted the teaser last week. Now, here's the full TV spot featuring Ferris Bueller back to his old tricks, again. How many spots to you remember from the movie?
As much as I wish it was a teaser for the sequel of the classic 80s blockbuster, and the return of the much loved Ferris Bueller, it's just an ad that will be airing during the Super Bowl. Brilliant, though. A teaser an for an ad. What everyone is asking now is who's footing the bill?
When advertising is effective. This is a wonderful spot for the new MPC ENNIO 2000. When I picture myself teaching my future son about music, this comes to mind. Ad of the year.
I love when an AD conveys a message in a creative way. This is why I'm getting a kick out of these new 30sec spots for Pet Adoption. Here's the two I like the most. Shouts to the creative team behind these and whoever does the voiceover work...
