rest well, william moody

Sad day in the world of wrestling. As most know, I'm a huge wrestling nerd. I like to dig up old footage and get captivated by the stories they told in the ring. Last week, I watched a couple shoot interviews featuring William Moody and his pal and legendary wrestling manager, Jim Cornette. Nice to know my last memory  of Paul Bearer would be of him laughing and talking about his passion - and not tied up getting thrown into a meat freezer.

RIP, Paul Bearer.

a plaque of appreciation.

As I was leaving this afternoon on the way to a meeting, I found a package at the door. Opened it. It was a plaque of appreciation from the Terry Fox Foundation. If you remember, my company, Fame Freelance Services, took part in the run last September. I have hung it on the wall and plan on adding more years to it, making each year bigger than the previous one.

Thanks again for all those who helped out.

 To 2013!

never going to say goodbye..

A friend of mine posted this picture as his profile pic on his Facebook. I think this is the most moving Michael Jackson picture/painting I've ever seen. It tells a sad, yet, sympathetic successful story in such a sweet and poetic way. So true of what his life was like. So true on how it ended. I forgot who said it, but they stated the day Jackson died, "Michael Jackson lost his childhood. Now, he's going to loose his old age".

photobombing

As I shared on Tuesday (just scroll down a bit) I went to take some nature flicks this week and spent the day at a park I used to frequent as a kid. The day went really well and I actually feel asleep on a bench with the sun shinning down on my and a warm breeze hitting my face. It was so relaxing. So peaceful and beautiful.

It reminded me about Mother Nature's power to make the little things in life that we take for granted daily. It reminded me that flowers, trees, leaves, and even dirt are so beautiful and under appreciated.

Claude Monet once said, the richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration.
