When in Deroit, I feel Dilla's spirit. When I listen to his music, it comes in closer. As if he's on a stage steps away performing. It feels nice. Detroit has become more of a second home because of the mysterious comfortable vibe. Here's a video I came across of Dilla's mother, Ma Dukes, talking about the Rebirth of Detroit project.
