the tech age. can't live with it. pass the iphone..

Today was one of those days. The internet was unkind. Freezing. Mouse stood still. Not moving. I scratched my head a few times in disgust. I hit the table. Banged on the chair arms. Took a few more shots of juice than I should have. Stress. Stressed out. The Tech age. Can't live with it. Pass the iPhone. Chrome and I have a love and hate relationship. Same with most things on the net. When they work, they work. When they don't, they kick you in the ass. And it's always when you need them most. Good friends, huh? Head hurts from the banging. The starting over. The freezing. The frustrating out lashing to objects controlled by power. They can't talk back. They don't have a mind. They just make your life bad. It's a stupid thing when you really think about it, but I tend to rationalize it by saying that in a few years, they'll be human too. And then we'll remind them about how many times they disappointed  us in the past.  And how many more times they will. And how many times we will continue to use them because there's the need. Scary how much of our lives is made up by unpredictable powered objects that we can't trust 100 percent. Scary. This rant is over, though. Going back to work. Till the next time that error message comes on and the internet is unkind.
