an understanding of 9/11

One of the main reason why I fell in love with media way back when, was the power it had. The intimacy. The exclusiveness. It made me into the news junkie I am today, really. I remember going to the old library and digging up old video tapes of major moments in the worlds history. Assassinations, speeches, World Series wins, wars. That kind of stuff. I always found the coverage of 9/11 amazing. Both on radio and TV. I remember being glued to both in my room that morning when the news was breaking. Wanted to take in what everyone was saying. Fast forward almost ten years later, and I come across this. Understanding 9/11: A Television News Archive. Taking some tape from all over the world covering the traumatic day.

If you're a history buff or a media nerd, you'll love this site as much as I do.

Here's the link.
