welcome back kiss 92.5

From 680 News

Rogers Broadcasting launched a new radio station, Friday, called KISS92.5 FM, the only "All Hits" and "Top 40" radio station in the city of Toronto.

The new station was simulcast on sister station "All News Radio" 680News.

On the new KISS92.5 FM, listeners can expect to hear continuous hits from today's biggest artists, such as the Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

"There isn't an all-hits radio station in Toronto...a station that plays non-stop wall-to-wall hits from today's hot artists...we're putting a station on the air that appeals to people that love hits music," Julie Adams, the assistant national program director for Rogers, told 680News.

Adams also said don't expect this KISS92.5 FM to be anything like the one from the past. "There will be a big difference for sure because the music has changed so much. For people who listen to us and liked the sound of the station back then, if they still like hit music, they are still going to like KISS."

As the station evolves, the station will be "plugged in" through instant messaging, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and several other social networking sites.

On-air talent for KISS92.5 will be announced in the coming weeks.
