It's been learned that Toronto has lost another industry giant. John Spragge passed away yesterday evening. He lost a battle with cancer after two strong years. Spragge became a radio icon in the local parts by being one of the first loved rock jocks in town on CHUM-AM and later became the program director at CFRB. I'll be posting an article the Globe is working on in a couple of days. Spragge will be missed by many.
