
The late great John Majhor was posthumously inducted into the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame recently. You can read more about the induction here. Maj got his stripes as a Toronto broadcaster back in the 70's starting off at CHUM Radio then becoming one of the first VJ's on CITY's Toronto Rocks. He was also the longtime voice of 97.3 during their many format changes. That's where I met him and when we became good pals. We lost Maj in 2007 from Cancer.
