rogers slash prices..


After a couple of weeks of spatting between Rogers and Apple, the local wireless distributor has decided to slash the prices for the iPhone 3G which is hitting local soil Friday. Rogers is now offering a special effective till August 31st where you can get 6GB of date for $30/month along with any voice plan. Furthermore, users are able to access the web, send and receive e-mails, and watch videos on Youtube. Previously, 30 bucks would've only gotten you 300 megabytes.

According to The Star's article, Rogers change of prices was in response to customer feedback.
