the love for chai

When I quit drinking I needed a new place to relax besides the bar. I chose Starbucks. I chose it because I know some people who frequent there and well, it was a pretty cool place to get creative. I never thought I would've been part of the Starbuck generation of nerdy desktop nerds and artists sitting there for hours over a couple cups of coffee s and a half a pack of smoke.

But I have. I've become one of Them.

During my early visits there, I started to get familiar with all the drinks. Hot, cold, sweet, or just plain old black dark roast. Nothing really stood out of the ordinary that made me want to crave the brand. Then I tried the Chai Latte. I got hooked. I went three days without it and I started to crave it. They got me obsessed.

However, I think it's more about the Chai itself rather than the branding of it even though I haven't tried any other coffee places versions of the tea, But I do know that I'm drinking much more of it at home.

Drop one addiction and pick up another, right?

At least this one won't make me into a madman.

Or will it?
