the tooth

My tooth hurts. I really don't know if it's my tooth or my gums or if I'm coming down with something. Whenever my gum and/or my tooth hurts most of the time it means that I'm coming down with a cold or something. No other symptoms, yet so I'm thinking something is going on with my tooth. The pain is traveling down to my throat. It's making it heard to eat solids and to swallow and to talk and to move my mouth. I think I should book an appointment to the dentist. I have been dodging his calls for the past few months. I'm overdue for a checkup. I just thought I'm in not in need for it, so why bother? Now, I think it's time. I don't know if anything still freaks me out as much as it did from when I was a little boy than that huge robotic gray chair with a tiny movable mirror attached to it that goes up and down. Even describing it gives me the chills. Dentists get a bad rep, huh? But I understand why. The pain, the unfamiliar hands peaking through your mouth and if you don't have insurance, the large bill which can empty many pockets.

Now on top of the sore throat and the ache it's also causing my head to hurt. My TV is set to a low volume otherwise my heads starts to throb.

I really hope this doesn't wreck my weekend.

I really really hope that the dentist will be nicer than usual.

I hope it's not too serious.
